We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build the core systems that power Webrix. This is a role for a seasoned engineer who takes ownership, drives technical decisions, and knows how to build infrastructure that scales. You'll own critical pieces of our platform and help set the technical bar for the team.
What You'll Do

Own core infrastructure – build the systems that handle authentication, permissions, audit logging, and real-time agent monitoring.

Design and implement APIs that enterprise customers integrate with – reliability and developer experience matter.

Make architectural decisions that balance speed and scalability – we move fast, but we're building for the long term.

Drive technical excellence – code reviews, best practices, and mentoring junior engineers.

Harness AI coding tools to maximize throughput – we expect you to work smarter, not just harder.

Collaborate with product and security teams to shape what we build and how we build it.
What We're Looking For
- •
6+ years of software engineering experience, with significant time in backend or infrastructure roles.
- •
Deep expertise in at least one area – distributed systems, databases, API design, or cloud infrastructure.
- •
Track record of owning and shipping complex systems in production.
- •
Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and engineering best practices – loosely held.
- •
Experience with high-availability systems – you've been paged at 2am and know how to prevent it.
- •
Proficiency with AI coding tools – you already use them to move faster.
- •
Thrives with autonomy – you don't need detailed specs to make progress.
